She is seaworthy, roomy and comfortable, with a double ended long keel hull its construction is based on a commercial design formerly used in Coast guard rescue cutters and Pilot boats in the North Sea.
The hull is constructed to Lloyds register standards, and every Finnsailer is delivered with Lloyds certification.
As well as good sailing properties, she is powerful with an 85 horse power diesel engine which will power her along at 8+ knots.
With 100 gals of fuel capacity she has a range under power of 600 miles.
At 6.5 knots /1600rpm she uses 1 gal per hr.
There are two options of helm position available with one in the spacious self draining cockpit and a second in the wheelhouse, with adequate shelter from the elements.
