This Fisher 37 derivative was built by Freeward Marine and fitted out privately to a very high standard as a mid wheelhouse sloop rigged motor sailer. The original Fisher 37 hull has been finished to a very heavy lay up with hardwood transverse and longitudinal framing and the construction includes water tight bulkheads.
This gives great strength and the ability to stand up to the most demanding conditions. The additional displacement over the standard Fisher 37 is balanced by a larger rig giving excellent sea keeping and sailing performance off the wind. It will become obvious that considerable additional strength has been built into this boat, and that comfort has been given a lower priority.
The finished result is a vessel which will withstand the toughest demands at sea while maintaining the highest levels of safety. The engine has been well maintained and serviced annually. It can be seen that there is huge scope for making additional measures to improve habitability should this be required by a new owner. A recent survey is available.

Accommodation:
There are a total of five single berths located in three cabins.
There are two forward, a double right aft, and a single on the starboard side aft immediately opposite the heads compartment. The accommodation offers significant scope for development.
Galley:
Located in the wheel house, the galley is equipped with a Two burner cooker with oven grill cool box and stainless steel sink. There are a number of storage compartments located in the vicinity.
Sails:
Main, Genoa & working jib, storm jib, spinnaker & snuffer, tri sail.

Instruments:
Garmin GPS, Garmin fish finder, 2nd echo pilot, speed depthx2, Autohelm 5000, Stowe wind. ( Please note that the VHF set currently on board is not included in the sale)
Electrical System:
12v/24v, shore power.
Additional Info:
The hull was constructed in 1974 and she was completed and first commissioned in 1976. The reliable Perkins 6.354 freshwater cooled engine gives a maximum speed in the region of 8 knots and 1 gallon per hour consumption at 7 knots. Toughly constructed she is ideal as a family cruiser or live aboard for a couple with long distances in mind. Alternately, if suitably coded she would be suited for wild life trips, diving trips etc.
