A classic Silver's/Bain design Ormidale motor sailer built from mahogany on oak in 1958 at the Silvers yard in Rosneath.
Known as the "Ormidale 38 1/2 ft T.S.D.Y" (that's Twin Screw Displacement Yacht), she is a very substantial and much sought after boat.
The two Thornycroft 2.5 litre engines give powerful yet economical performance and excellent manoeuvrability.
Fuel consumption reported to be less than 3 gallons per hour at a cruising speed of 7.5 knots. Originally built as a motor sailer, the mast and rigging is now missing but could be replaced by the new owner if required.



Accommodation:
Six berths.
4 singles in the forward cabin and two singles in the rear "owners" cabin. Shower compartment, Pressurised hot and cold water. Headroom of 6ft 6 in down below and 6ft in the wheelhouse.
Galley:
Two burner gas stove with grill and oven.
12v/230v fridge. 20 litre calorifier with Immersion and switch.
Sails:
The mast and rigging is now missing but could be replaced by the new owner if required.

are still fitted.

Garmin Fishfinder 400C Navman DSC VHF Radio 7200 Series with external speaker. Lowrance Global II Chart Plotter. Seafarer 301 echo sounder.

Numerous bilge pumps, gas detector, CQR anchor with 90 metres galvanised chain, electric windlass. Stereo CD Player System with 4 speakers. Fold Down Chart Table. Screen Wash for Windows. Gas Locker 2 x 4.5 Calor Bottles, drained through skin fitting. Pressurised Shower.

The previous owner has kept her for over 26 years, wintering each year under cover.
The current owner has done many upgrades and cruised extensively in the Forth, Clyde and Inner Hebrides. British Waterways Boat Safety Scheme Certificate until December 2011. Current Certificate of British Registry. Original Registration document (Blue Book) and original design plans.
