Built in 1978 to military standards with additional strengthening this is a good example of the Saturn 27 General Service Launch and makes a perfect workboat or sports fishing boat. Fitted with a very reliable and powerful Mercedes Benz OM352 6 cylinder 120 bhp diesel engine this is a heavily built launch with excellent sea keeping, good accommodation and a good size cockpit. She has strong safety grab rails running forward, heavy duty lifting eyes and cockpit Sampson posts. The self draining cockpit has port and starboard seating for six people with fitted cockpit cushion and an aft storage locker..


Accommodation:
The fore peak contains a chain locker and the fore cabin, entered from the wheelhouse has two bench seats suitable for three people each side or two single berths.
A table is fitted between. The Main cabin/wheelhouse has the helm position with a helm seat, wheel and engine controls.
A central seat is over the engine compartment.
On the starboard side is the galley with stove and storage area.

Additional Info:
The Powerful Mercedes Benz OM352 six cylinder diesel engine is reliable and in good condition.
The starter motor was reconditioned in 2010 and starts the engine easily.
She has a mximum speed of about 14 knots and a very economical cruising speed of about 7 knots, consuming about 1.5 gallons per hour.
