Greatly reduced in price pending the start of refurbishment work, she is a sound boat that could be used with a little maintenance or taken on as a project to get her into really fine shape.

The issues are mainly due to rainwater ingress causing damp and damage to interior woodwork and repairs required to the stemhead fitting.
With the stemhead fitting repaired, along with routine maintenance she could be safely sailed away for the season.

The owners intend to start the planned refurbishment in the early spring after which the price will be increased again, so now is the time to get a real bargain for the upcoming season, particularly if you are a keen doityourselfer.

The Westerly Oceanquest 35 is a strong, reliable, family sea-going cruiser.
This one is the centre cockpit version giving an amazing amount of space down below and a safe dry commanding cockpit for both helm and the family crew.

The owners have kept her in Scottish waters, both east and west coasts, but taken her as far afield as Ireland, Norway and the Faroe islands.
She sails well and handles bad weather with confidence.
With her bilge keels she is able to dry out and the famous Westerly design allows good sailing with a very respectable top speeds in the region of 7 knots.

Accommodation:
She has 5 berths with an additional sixth short berth in three cabins including the spacious aft master suite.
There is full standing headroom in most areas.
The main cabin, or saloon, is spacious and light with good seating for all the family around the dining table.

Galley:
The spacious galley has good storage space and work area and has a two burner gas stove with oven and grill, fridge, coolbox and double sink.
There is pressurised hot and cold water and manual cold water backup pump.
The galley is ideal for catering for all the family both at anchor or under way.

Sails:
The sails are in good serviceable condition with recent roller reefing genoa and good main.

Instruments:
Compass, chart plotter/GPS, depth sounder, wind speed and direction.

Other Equipment:
Life raft, solar panel for battery trickle charging.
A dinghy is available by separate negotiation.

Additional Information:
The yacht has had only two sharing owners since new.
She has been continuously maintained and recently been renovated including new headlining throughout and the deck completely resurfaced, removing the old worn, troublesome and high maintenance teak with a low maintenance anti slip finish.

The Volvo Penta 2030 Diesel engine is in excellent condition and fitted with the standard Volvo Saildrive and folding propeller.
